Anthrax & Hatebreed Wrecks the Brooklyn Bowl

Anthrax brought their 40th anniversary tour to the Brooklyn Bowl in Las Vegas along with Hatebreed.

Off to an early start, Hatebreed could have easily headlined the show the way that they had the crowd in a frenzy. The band birthed from Connecticut led the fans into a circle pit so early in the show that I thought I missed a few openers. My favorite song of the night that I quickly added to my playlist was Perseverance.

Since this was Anthrax's 40th anniversary, they decided to do something special for the fans and open the show with a documentary/celebratory opening video projected on a large white sheet. Fans were cheering and howling at special appearances that were made on video with metal legends such as Phil Anselmo (of Pantera) and much more. When that large white sheet fell from the ceiling to the floor, the audience were hysterical as Anthrax entered the stage. This was definitely a special night for Anthrax fans.
